The International Annual Microwave Photonics Conference (IEEE MWP2023), hosted by Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA), Tianyuan Laboratory, Institute of Semiconductor Research of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (ISRAC), Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications (BUPT) and Southwest Jiaotong University (SWJTU), was successfully held from October 15-18, 2023, in Nanjing.

IEEE MWP is the top international academic conference in the field of microwave photonics, providing a platform for researchers to share new knowledge, establish collaborations, and explore future research directions. It has continued to drive development and innovation in the field of microwave photonics since 1996.

The paper "Reconfigurable Silicon Integrated RF Photonic Filter Toward Wireless Communication" written by Zihan Tao, a doctoral student under the supervision of Prof. Xingjun Wang, was honored with "Best Student Paper Award".
