In order to summarize the exchange of the latest research results of China's microwave photonics technology, promote the development and exchange of microwave photonics technology at home and abroad, and develop the application field of microwave photonics technology, the Optical Engineering Society of China, in conjunction with a number of units will hold "the Eighth Conference on Microwave Photonics Technology and Applications " in Nanjing on July 7-9, 2023. The conference is characterized by pulling the demand of national major scientific and technological projects and promoting engineering applications, gathering leading experts and scientific and technological teams in the field of microwave photonics technology, building a seamless exchange and cooperation platform, and forming a synergy to promote the rapid development of microwave photonics itself and its industrial development in the field of applications.
In this conference, in order to recognize and encourage the outstanding research ability and stimulate the enthusiasm of young scholars, the program committee members of the conference selected four outstanding presenters and awarded them with the "China Microwave Photonics Academic Rising Star" award. Tao Zihan, a PhD student of our center, won the award, which is only six in China. At the meeting, Tao Zihan gave a presentation entitled "Highly Reconfigurable Silicon Integrated Microwave Photonic Filters for Next Generation Wireless Communications". The report introduced the latest progress of integrated microwave photonic filter chips working in 6G wireless communication scenario in our center.
