On June 1, 2023, Shen Bitao, a PhD student of the Center in the class of 2019, was awarded the Presidential Scholarship of Peking University after evaluation by the College of Electronics. The Presidential Scholarship for Doctoral Candidates is the most honorary, the largest amount of funding, and the most influential postgraduate scholarship established by Peking University.

On May 27, 2023, the "Xiaomi Cup", the first "Academic Forum - Academic Top Ten", sponsored by the School of Electronics of Peking University, organized by the Youth League Committee and Graduate Student Association of the School of Electronics, and supported by Xiaomi Public Welfare Foundation, was successfully held in the Sunshine Hall of Yingjie Communication Center. Shen Bitao, a student of the Center, made a presentation on "Microcavity optical comb and its system applications" and was finally awarded the first "Academic Top Ten" of the College of Electronics of Peking University.
