Recently, the 7th Microwave Photonics Technology and Application Symposium was held in Guilin. The conference held the "2022 China Microwave Photonics Academic Rising Stars" competition, inviting young scholars under the age of 35 to present one to three original achievements in the form of quick report. The program committee of the conference selected six outstanding presenters and awarded them the "China Microwave Photonics Academic Rising Stars". Haowen Shu, a postdoctoral fellow of our center, was honored with the award. Prof. Xie Xiaopeng of Peking University was the guest of honor to present the award to the winning individual.
During the meeting, Dr. Haowen Shu introduced the latest progress of our center in integrated nonlinear optics and integrated microwave photonics, including system design, device performance characterization, and system functional testing, with the title of "Microcavity Optical Frequency Comb-Driven Silicon Integrated Microwave Photonic Filters". He also made an analysis and outlook on the future development.
