On June 2, 2022, Dr. Tao Yuansheng was recommended to participate in the Peking University 2022 Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation as one of the five student representatives of the College of Electronics and the only candidate of Communication and Information Systems program, after being selected by all the faculty members of the College of Electronics meeting. On June 8, after the selection by the university's disciplinary subcommittee and after a secret ballot, Dr. Tao Yuansheng's related research work and doctoral dissertation titled "Research on Silicon-based Integrated Microwave Photonic Devices and Systems" were awarded the Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation of Peking University's Information Science Sub-committee! (There are only 99 places for the 2022 Peking University Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation)

Meanwhile, Dr. Yuansheng was awarded the only place among the information and communication disciplines of Peking University in the 2022 National Postdoctoral Innovative Talents (Boshin) Program evaluation (400 people a year).
