Recently, the evaluation process for the 9th Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Awards of the Chinese Society for Electronic Education (CSEE) in 2025 was successfully concluded. Following a rigorous peer-review process of 93 nominated doctoral dissertations, the PhD dissertation entitled “Integrated Light Sources Based on Ultrahigh-Low-Loss Silicon Nitride and Their Applications,” authored by PhD student Xu Zhang and jointly supervised by Professor Lin Chang and Professor Xingjun Wang from the Center, was awarded the Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Award.

Founded in October 1994, the Chinese Society for Electronic Education is a national, academic, and non-profit organization under the supervision of the Ministry of Education and registered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs of China. The Society is composed of educational institutions and enterprises in the electronics and information industry across China, and is dedicated to research and development in electronic education. Its secretariat is permanently located at Xidian University.
