Recently, Postdoctoral Fellow Chen Ruixuan has been awarded two grants from the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) in 2023 for the Young Science Fund Project and the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) Young Talent Support Project.
The Youth Science Fund Program supports young scientists and technicians to independently select topics and carry out basic research within the scope of the Science Fund, cultivates the ability of young scientists and technicians to independently preside over scientific research projects and carry out innovative research, stimulates the innovative thinking of young scientists and technicians, and fosters the successor talents in basic research.
The Young Talent Support Project of China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) is a talent service project of CAST that empowers national societies, explores the cultivation mechanism of young scientific and technological talents and builds up a national reserve of innovative talents. It relies on the project implementation units (national societies) to openly select young scientific and technological workers. It provides financial support, formulates personalized cultivation plans, equips professional support mentors and provides domestic and international high-level exchange platforms to the supportees for effective cultivation.
The Center for Optoelectronic Chip and Information System Innovation actively responds to the policies related to talent cultivation of Peking University, and is committed to guiding the cultivation of young scientists in the group in the face of the major needs of the national optoelectronic information industry.
