Recently, the results of the 2025 China’s Top Ten Advances in Optics, organized by Chinese Laser Press, were officially announced following a rigorous review by the selection committee. The Center’s research achievement, “Ultra-Broadband Optoelectronic Fusion Chip for Full-Band 6G Wireless Communications,” was selected as one of China’s Top Ten Advances in Optics (Applied Research Category).

The 20 selected advances with significant impact span both fundamental research and technological applications, collectively showcasing a series of original and cutting-edge breakthroughs achieved by China in fields such as optical quantum technologies, novel laser sources, and topological optical fields. These advances also focus on addressing key technological bottlenecks in areas including information technology, energy, healthcare, and national defense, generating a strong response within the scientific community and attracting wide attention from all sectors of society.
